1. Open the case. Match L to your left ear and R to your right ear. The same letter is marked on each hearing aid.
2. Keep the removal stem pointing up. Gently insert the hearing aid until it feels snug and comfortable. Do not force it.
3. To remove the hearing aid, gently pull the removal stem.
4. After use, return each hearing aid to its matching charging slot and close the case to keep it protected.

1. Find the small button just above the L or R marking on your hearing aid.
2. A short press increases the volume. There are seven levels. Three beeps indicate the highest level; press again to return to the lowest. Choose a comfortable volume.
3. To change programs, press and hold the button, then release at the tone: one beep for General, two for noisy environments, and three for Tinnitus.

Tinnitus mode plays a masking sound with hearing amplification off. Repeat the adjustment on the other hearing aid as needed.

1. Make sure the hearing aids, charging contacts and case are clean and dry.
2. Place each hearing aid in its matching slot and close the lid.
3. Connect the case to a 5 V USB power source capable of supplying 2 A, using the supplied cable.
4. The moving L and R charge segments indicate charging. Steady segments indicate a full charge.

Allow about 2 hours for a full charge. Listening time is about 14 hours per charge; the case provides about 4 additional charges. Actual battery life varies.

Choose for comfort and fit, not just the smallest size. Ear tips, also called domes, help keep amplified sound from escaping and being picked up again by the microphone. This feedback can cause whistling.

1. With clean, dry hands, hold the hearing aid securely and gently pull off the silicone tip.
2. Choose a compatible NILO Air tip from your accessory box. If the fit feels loose, try a larger size. If it feels too tight or is difficult to position, try a smaller size. Each ear may need a different size.
3. Push the new tip fully onto the sound outlet. Gently check that it is firmly attached before placing the hearing aid in your ear.
4. Position the hearing aid gently. The tip should feel snug and comfortable, never painful. Do not force it deeper.

Still hearing whistling? Check the position first, then the fit. Whistling does not always mean you need a larger tip: wax buildup or other issues can also cause it. If it continues, follow the whistling guide or contact NILO for help.

1. With clean, dry hands, check the silicone tip and sound opening. Wax or debris can make sound quieter or block it completely.
2. Hold the opening facing down. Use the brush from your accessory box to gently sweep away wax and debris without pushing them inside.
3. Wipe the tip and outer shell with a soft, dry cloth. Do not rinse the hearing aid or use alcohol or cleaning sprays.
4. Repeat daily to help limit buildup. Cleaning does not replace changing the wax filter: replace it every 30 days, or sooner if it becomes clogged.

1. Remove the ear tip.
2. Insert the empty end of a new wax-filter tool into the used filter, then gently pull it out.
3. Turn the tool over. Insert the new filter into place and pull the tool away.
4. Check that the filter is secure, then refit the ear tip firmly.

Use NILO Air-compatible filters only. Do not wash or reuse a filter, or use Air without one.

1. Hold the hearing aid securely and gently remove the ear tip.
2. Choose a compatible NILO Air tip in a comfortable size.
3. Push the new tip securely onto the sound outlet, then check that it is firmly attached before inserting Air.

A loose seal can cause whistling; a tip that is too large may feel uncomfortable. Replace tips that are worn, damaged or cannot be cleaned.

1. Open the charging case: blue L is left and red R is right. Find the matching color on each receiver wire.
2. Slide the hearing aid over the top of your ear so the body rests comfortably behind it.
3. Gently guide the soft ear tip into your ear canal. Use your fingertip to ease it a little further inward and slightly forward, without forcing it.
4. Check that the ear tip feels comfortable and secure. Correct placement supports clear sound and helps prevent unwanted whistling.
5. To remove it, gently reverse the movement, then return the hearing aid to its charging case.

1. Briefly press the upper button (A) to increase the volume or the lower button (B) to decrease it. There are nine volume levels.
2. Hold the upper button for three seconds to change the listening mode. Listen for the spoken mode announcement.
3. Hold the lower button for three seconds to switch between listening and Bluetooth streaming.
4. You can also adjust the left and right volume separately, or together, in the optional ForSound app.

1. Before first use, remove the protective stickers from the charging contacts.
2. Place each hearing aid securely in its matching slot, with the charging contacts aligned.
3. The number in the center shows the battery percentage remaining in the case itself.
4. The bars on either side show each hearing aid's battery level: L for left and R for right. Each bar represents about 25% of that hearing aid's charge.
5. Close the lid and leave your hearing aids to charge.

1. Check your silicone tips for cracks or damage and replace them when needed.
2. Choose a size that feels comfortable and seals securely. If there is a gap or whistling, try a larger size.
3. Remove the old tip gently and fit the replacement securely over the outlet.
4. Check that the tip is firmly attached before putting the device in your ear.

1. Hold the sound outlet facing down and gently brush away debris from the tip.
2. Use a soft cloth to remove dirt from the silicone tips. Keep water away from the devices.
3. Check the tips and wax filters regularly. Replace damaged tips and blocked filters.
4. Turn the devices off when not in use and keep them away from water, heat and impacts.

Replace the wax filter every 30 days, or sooner if sound fades or cuts out. A filter blocked by earwax is a common cause of weak or missing sound, so check it first.

1. Gently remove the silicone ear tip to reveal the small white wax filter.
2. Take a new replacement stick. One end holds the new filter; the other is the removal tip.
3. Gently insert the removal tip into the old filter and pull it straight out.
4. Turn the stick around, press the new filter into place, then withdraw the stick.
5. Push the silicone ear tip fully back on and check that it is secure before returning your NILO Pro to its charging case.

3. Select “6118”. Check that Left and Right both show “Connected”, then tap “Save”.
4. Adjust the volume to a comfortable level. Air works without the app and does not stream calls or music.

3. Select “5122L”. Check that Left and Right both show “Connected”, then tap “Save”.
4. Adjust the volume to a comfortable level. Pro works without the app. Bluetooth audio pairing for calls and music is separate from app control.

2. Turn on Bluetooth in your phone settings and select 5122L when it appears.
3. Once connected, you can play audio or make calls through your phone.
4. Hold the lower button for three seconds to return to listening mode. The ForSound app connection is separate from the phone audio connection.
