Compare NILO modelsA lower number means you followed a quieter voice relative to the noise in this exercise. Your headphones, volume and surroundings can affect it.
This measures the balance between voice and noise. It is not a hearing-loss percentage or a diagnosis.
How this result was measured
The difficulty changes with your answers. The number correct is not a hearing score and cannot be used to compare people.
Your measured result comes from the listening exercise. The advice below it uses your everyday answers. This check cannot diagnose hearing loss or determine whether a hearing aid is suitable.
How this check works
The exercise uses 15 number sequences in changing background noise. The first five help the exercise settle; the remaining ten describe this session. Five separate questions describe your everyday experience.
This NILO exercise and five-question profile are not a validated diagnostic test. They cannot measure hearing loss or determine whether hearing aids are suitable. Headphones, surroundings and attention can affect the exercise.
